The challenge
After ordering, Devaca's customers often didn't know where they stood. Sending status updates manually took time and didn't always happen consistently. That led to unnecessary questions for customer service and a less polished customer experience.
What we built
We built an automation that listens in on the order process. At every status change, from 'order placed' to 'order shipped', an email automatically goes to the customer. On shipping, the track & trace code is included so the customer can follow the package themselves. All emails are styled in Devaca's house style and tested with real orders, so it ran reliably from day one.
